About the role

Reporting into the Head of Technology - MarTech, Media & Content, you will play a key role in managing the business analysis and exploration activities performed by the Engaging Experiences team. You will maintain the initiative backlog, ensuring work flows through the team at pace.

As the Senior Business Analyst, you will leverage your strong collaboration and communication skills to work closely with key stakeholders and coach Delivery BAs in the team.

Duties Include:

• Communicate the status of backlog to stakeholders in and out of the team, perform high level discovery on items before being given to delivery teams, and ensure prioritised items are ready for the team when needed.
• Define and track outcomes for the Media & Content Value Stream in the Technology - Engaging Experiences team.
• Analyse high level ideas and provide guidance on multiple options with respect to value, customer experience, feasibility and priority.
• Decompose high level ideas into technical stories and guide teams to work on deliverable slices.
• Lead the collaboration across capabilities to ensure strong customer experience is achieved with strategic technical solutions.
• Define and track outcomes for the Engaging Experiences team.
• Participate and lead the uplift of BA practices in the wider BA community.

About You

• Seasoned Senior Business Analyst with customer-facing and front-end (website and applications) experience.
• Proven experience in product and design.
• Questions the status quo and can apply a continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication skills, including influencing and negotiation.
• Good technical knowledge to understand the right tools and techniques for each project and activity.
• Proven experience in complex problem solving and analytical thinking.
• Excellent prioritisation and time management skills.
• Able to lead and coach others effectively.
• Excellent understanding of Agile SCRUM and Kanban.

Deep knowledge of streaming, digital asset management platforms, video on demand and video tracking metrics all very advantageous.
