ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB <\/strong><\/p>\n

Azure Data Infrastructure Management <\/strong><\/p>\n

\n
• Design, implement, and manage the Azure data infrastructure to support Center\u2019s database designs, or overall architecture.<\/li>\n
• Collaborate with UFIT services to align with centralized services.<\/li>\n
• Ensure data security, compliance, and scalability.<\/li>\n
• Manage and maintain production and non-production databases. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Application Management <\/strong><\/p>\n

  \n
  • Develop, test, and maintain full stack applications using JavaScript, Python, Java, React, .Net, Node.js.<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features using Agile methodologies.<\/li>\n
  • Work with APIs and LTI to ensure seamless integration with external systems and educational tools.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.<\/li>\n
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Systems Storage and Administration <\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
    • Oversee storage solutions, including recovery.<\/li>\n
    • Administer system configurations, updates, and monitoring.<\/li>\n
    • Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software procurement.<\/li>\n
    • May perform capacity analysis, monitor and control use of IT resources.<\/li>\n
    • Responsible for the preparation and modification of technical and capacity documentation. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Coordination with UFIT and External Vendors <\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
      • Act as a liaison between the Center, UFIT services, and external vendors.<\/li>\n
      • Coordinate and manage centralized services and integrations.<\/li>\n
      • Facilitate risk assessment processes for internal and external applications. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

$95,000- $105,000<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational\/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

• Master\u2019s degree in computer science or related field and four years of experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational\/technical training may be substituted at an equivalent rate for the required experience.<\/li>\n
• Experience with Azure cloud services and .NET framework.<\/li>\n
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.<\/li>\n
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.<\/li>\n
• DevOps and Containerization<\/strong>\n
  \n
  • Experience working with containerization software, such as Docker, to manage the coding environment, dependencies, and application prerequisites.<\/li>\n
  • Leveraging Python and Docker to test code in development environments and deploy processes to a production environment. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
  • Azure Data Infrastructure Management <\/strong>\n
    \n
    • Experience creating and managing ETL processes to move data between Azure MySQL databases.<\/li>\n
    • Experience with granting user access and privilege management for databases. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Systems Storage and Administration<\/strong>\n

      • Experience working with processing servers to integrate data pipelines and cronjobs that automate the flow of data. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Coordination with UFIT and External Vendors<\/strong>\n
        \n
        • Experience working with UFIT to create database servers for partners and clients to use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
