Job Description:
Provide supervision, support and on-going training to clerical staff and trainees in the day-to-day operations of the Outpatient Appointment Scheduling Unit in conjunction with the Manager, Outpatient Appointments and Theatre Bookings.
- Provide day-to-day rostering and supervision of clerical staff and trainees working as Outpatient Appointment Schedulers, ensuring that service delivery standards, service objectives and strategies are understood, implemented and maintained.
- Prioritise daily duties within Outpatient Appointment Scheduling consistent with service delivery objectives.
- Facilitate, motivate and promote team cohesion and efficient and effective service outcomes to the outpatient appointment scheduling team/s.
- Assist with monitoring quality control and improvement through effective communication and facilitation of work being carried out in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Train new staff in all appointment scheduling functions including ensuring learning/reference resources are up to date and available.

- Outpatients is a demanding work area coordinating patient reception, appointment scheduling and phone services to maximise patient flow efficiency within clinics.

Details of Appointment
Permanent, part time, day worker position working 15.2 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: $71,661 - $77,455 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
