The role:

The Audiology service at the Royal Hobart Hospital continues to grow and new opportunities have arisen, with more hours available for a highly motivated, dynamic, progressive, enthusiastic Senior Speech Pathologist to join our team working in Diagnostic and Cochlear Implant Audiology.

Tasmania’s largest public teaching hospital provides a wide range of acute, sub-acute and specialised services and is centrally located, close to public transport and a short walk to the CBD. What’s different about Tasmania, is our culture and our lifestyle. Here you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to breath-taking coastlines, National Parks, and incredible fresh produce crafted by locals. After a hard day at work, you don’t sit in traffic for an hour. You can decompress with a wander through our beautiful city, an easy coastal commute, or you put on your boots and tell it to the mountain.

We are a team of some 20 staff, and we offer an exciting and rewarding place to work, featuring contemporary, evidence-informed practice that sees our Statewide Audiology Service closely linked to a broader multidisciplinary team. Here, you can work as a key part of an inclusive multi-disciplinary service while making a difference to the lives of a diverse and welcoming community.
