The Role:

As and effective member of a multidisciplinary team, the Dietitian provides a professional clinical dietetic service to patients within the allocated clinical workload in accordance with organisational Policies, Best Practice Standards and the Dietitians Australia (DA) Code of conduct

The Team:

The Nutrition and Dietetics team at THS-South is made up of almost 40 staff, from Dietetic Assistants through to Senior Dietitians, with significant clinical expertise and multiple opportunities for contribution to quality improvement activities, research and service development. We provide nutrition support to inpatients and outpatients and cover both paediatric and adult cohorts across a variety of specialty areas. All our services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.

Our HP1-2 Dietitians cover work areas based on a rotational roster to allow increased exposure to multiple clinical areas such as surgical, general medical, medical specialties and subacute.

Details of appointment:

Fixed term, full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of 12 months.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $71,441 to 107,878 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

Allowances:

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
