Job Description:

The University of Florida, Department of Medicine, Division of Palliative Care is seeking a board certified or board eligible physician in Palliative Care Medicine for a Part-Time (0.5 FTE) faculty position. Fellowship training in Palliative Care ifs preferred, but experience or other training may replace this requirement. Job duties will include participating in interdisciplinary consultation services in pediatric palliative care wherever the patient may be in the flow of healthcare. Facilitate discussion and clarification of goals of care for the patient and family. Collaborate with the primary medical team to establish appropriate treatment plan options based on the goals of the care discussion. Provide education to residents and fellows along with other interdisciplinary students interested in Palliative Care. Rank and Tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications. Salary is negotiable, commensurate with education and experience.

Expected Salary:

Salary is negotiable, commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum Requirements: MD or equivalent plus completion of a Palliative Care fellowship, and eligible for a Florida Medical License.
