The Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) is a well-established mental health service in the North West region of Tasmania with a highly skilled and passionate team of clinician's, who are seeking Clinical Nurse Specialists to come and join our well supported and diverse team.

We are seeking nurses with experience in assessment, case management, counselling and/or therapy, and within mental health or relevant/related sector would be ideal. You would be working within a multidisciplinary team to provide developmentally appropriate treatment with children, young people, and their families.

Our Aim:

CYMHS North West aims to provide timely access to evidence based, trauma informed treatment for children and young people (and their family/carers) who are struggling/experiencing difficulties with their mental health that is negatively impacting on them and their engagement in school, with peers and/or other aspects of their lives.

CYMHS in Tasmanian is undergoing Reform with the exciting development and implementation of new teams working across the state to improve the mental health outcomes of young people and their support systems. Relocation support is available for successful candidates.

Details of Appointment:

Permanent, full time, day worker positions working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary:
$103,466 - $109,165 per annum + 11.5% superannuation

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
