The area:

The Pool Office is a dynamic working environment employing permanent and casual nurses and support staff to provide short and longer term back fill to inpatient and outpatient areas across the Launceston General and District Hospitals.

The role of the Administration and Clerical Officer requires a person who has strong interpersonal and team leader skills and has proven high level administration and database experience. Experience in supporting recruitment processes would be highly regarded. The role would suit someone who enjoys supervising a team, working under pressure, meeting deadlines and managing changing priorities. The successful applicant will work within a small team in the Integrated Operations Centre at the LGH to support our pool team of approximately 500 employees. The Administration and Clerical Officer will be supported by the team of Nurse Unit Manager and Associate Nurse Unit Managers.

Details of Appointment

Permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 4 August 2024

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: $71,661 - $77,455 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
