Job Description:

The Role


  1. Assist adults to recover from their experience of family violence through the provision of information, assessment, counselling, referrals, and other appropriate forms of therapeutic intervention.
  2. Provide information and support, referral and advice to clients and other service providers.
  3. Assess and monitor the ongoing risk and safety needs of the adults affected by family violence who access the service.
  4. Identify, develop, provide or purchase the services required to meet the needs of adults affected by family violence.

The Family Violence Counselling and Support Service (FVCSS) team:

Details of Appointment

Multiple Permanent part time, shift-worker positions working up to 64 hours per fortnight.

*Notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Location: Hobart, Tasmania

Salary: $71,441 to $107,878 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
