The role:

You will be working within our highly skilled multidisciplinary Continuing Care Team (CCT) consisting of Peer and Carer Workers, Nurses, Social workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and Psychiatrists working with clients / families and other health team members to facilitate the provision of optimum patient/client care.

The CCT is located in Canning Street Launceston – or “Launnie” to the locals. Launceston is located in Northen Tasmania, known for its sweeping valley’s and vast farmland. The city offers a vibrant yet laid-back culture with a plethora of options to explore Tasmanian’s finest produce; farmers markets, urban bars, cafes, wineries, and distillers to name a few. Launceston is one of Australia’s oldest cities, some must-dos include; Cataract Gorge, City Park, the Sports Stadium and Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery. All located within the city centre.

Details of Appointment

Permanent full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: $75,902 to $102,908 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  1. Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse

  2. Current Driver’s Licence

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

  1. Possess specialist tertiary graduate or postgraduate mental health/psychiatric nursing qualification
