Job Description: | UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking an IT Infrastructure Technician to join Infrastructure Communication Technology (ICT), a unit within UFIT. Employment with UFIT provides an excellent opportunity to work with other employees dedicated and focused on understanding and interpreting the technological needs of the University of Florida’s innovative and inspirational community. As part of ICT, you will support and maintain moderately complex network systems. As part of the Data Center and Logistics team, you will troubleshoot, assist with the moves, add, and changes in the data center environment. Experience in troubleshooting network connection issues is key for the ability to support our networking infrastructure across campus. Expected Salary: | $44,700 annually In addition, the University of Florida offers a very competitive benefits package. |
Minimum Requirements: | An associate's degree and two years of appropriate experience or a high school diploma and four years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience but does not negate the minimum degree requirement(s). |
