Classification Title:

OPS – Time Limited

Job Description:
  • Perform tasks as assigned to complete field and greenhouse tasks including ground preparation, planting, maintenance, harvesting, hand pollinations and data collection.
  • Assist in irrigation/hydroponic maintenance and repair. Safely operate farm machinery and equipment as needed. Perform routine maintenance and repair of office, farm buildings and agricultural structures/greenhouses when applicable.
  • Assist in grounds maintenance, including mowing, weed control and pruning of Florida Friendly landscaping.
  • Responsible for personal entry of time worked and leave into the appropriate system as well as any required compliance and/or training needed. Perform other duties as needed for the success of the Hastings Agricultural Extension Center.
Expected Salary:

$11.00 per hour

Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
