Details of Appointment

Fixed term, part time, shift-worker (set rotational) positions working 10 to 60 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of approximately six months.

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: $71,661 to $77,455 pro-rata, per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022


Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

  1. A strong interest in a career in healthcare
  2. Previously worked in a role which required you to perform venepuncture would be acceptable e.g. Vet nursing
  3. On the job training is provided
  4. A Certificate III, or equivalent Diploma, from a registered tertiary institution, or an equivalent qualification, appropriate to the nature of the work is desirable, but not essential

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

  3. serious drug offences
  4. crimes involving dishonesty

  2. Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
