Job Description:

This is a Department built entirely for children and young people and their communities. Our ultimate goal is to work together to ensure that every child and young person in Tasmania is known, safe, well and learning.

Duties

As part of the CSS Allied Health Professional Level 4 leadership group, the Practice Manager provides day to day leadership and management of all practice within Child Safety Services, promoting and supporting high standards of ethical practice through the provision of mentorship, consultation, critical reflection on practice, and practice support and development within a Signs of Safety framework.
Provides leadership to and management of Practice Leaders within the Child Safety Service.

Period of Appointment

Permanent, ongoing

Hours per fortnight

76 hours per fortnight

Essential Requirements

1. Conviction checks in the following areas:

a. crimes of violence

b. sex related offences

c. serious drug offences

d. crimes involving dishonesty

e. serious traffic offences

2. Identification check

3. Disciplinary actions in previous employment check.
