About the Role
As the Engagement Lead of MDHS, under the broad strategic direction of the Deputy Dean - People, Community & Partnerships, you will work collaboratively with the Associate Dean Engagement & Partnerships (ADE&P) and the Associate Director – Advancement, Comms and Marketing to develop and implement an engagement strategy aligned with the university's overarching Advancing Melbourne and the Faculty's Advancing Health 2030 Strategies. You will drive initiatives to foster meaningful connections with industry partners, research collaborators, and internal stakeholders while overseeing engagement programs and managing a dedicated events team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing an engagement function and delivering events. You will excel in teamwork and collaboration, effectively cooperating with others to achieve objectives while demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. You should possess strong stakeholder management skills, the ability to build strategic relationships, and effective communication and influencing abilities.

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
