Job Description: | Service Management: Manages Tier 2 requests and escalated Tier 1 requests and general tracking of service requests. Identifies, analyzes, tests, and recommends software solutions and resolves complex software issues pertaining to supported applications, server, and cloud systems. Provides technical support of workstations and guidance to customers. Addresses reoccurring problems and assists in the development and execution of business process best practices across the organization. Infrastructure Systems Management: The incumbent in this position will assist in managing and maintaining infrastructure systems, including application servers, cloud services, directory services, web, system monitoring, network configuration, file and print, and desktop services. Intermediate knowledge of all aspects of the service from user experience, server technologies, and infrastructure design and management is required. Support and Communications: The incumbent in this position will be responsible for interacting with users to resolve issues, understand user needs, and communicate information about services. Is responsible for the preparation and modification of technical and user documentation and playbooks. Assist with Special Projects: The incumbent in this position will participate in and/or coordinate special projects from time to time. Work may involve all aspects of event coordination and management, and any other tasks required to ensure a successful project or event. Administrative Functions: The incumbent will attend various staff meetings as required and accomplish required administrative tasks. |
Expected Salary: | Salary range: $55,900.00 to $66,900.00 annually |
Minimum Requirements: | Associate degree and two years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. |
Preferred Qualifications: | Expert-level technical knowledge of Windows server roles, Microsoft Windows, macOS, various desktop software applications and management tools, with this hardware and software in a networked environment, is preferred. Intermediate-level technical knowledge of offered cloud services. Technical training experience. Excellent written and oral communication. |
