Base Location: Melksham, Swindon, Oxford

Salary: £22,178 - £29,290

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time

About the Department

Operations are responsible for keeping the lights on; we are at the front line on the Network. If we find a fault, it is our responsibility to respond to the fault, and dispatch our skilled teams to fix it as quickly as possible. We work in all hours, and through all weathers, ensuring our customers are never without power.

What is the Role?

Due to continued growth we are looking for Jointer Trainee's. As part of this role, you will be working alongside an experienced team on HV & LV Network, assisting in carrying out jointing and cabling work for supply restoration on a pre-planned and quick response basis.

What do I need?

A positive, can-do attitude with a huge passion to learn a new skill is a must for this role.

You should also have good communication skills, be adaptable, self motivated and flexible. A clean driving licence is essential as you will be required to travel and work in different locations. You also need to be flexible to carry out stand-by duties and attend short notice work in the event of severe weather.
