Work Location: Christmas Creek<\/strong><\/p>

Roster: 8D6R FIFO ex Perth<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>

The role of the Mechanical Reliability Engineer is to provide specialist technical support and achieve long-term reliability improvements by applying reliability engineering techniques, data analysis, improvement projects and defect elimination to the Fixed Plant Ore Processing Facility. <\/strong><\/p>

Key accountabilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>

• Data analysis and overall equipment effectiveness<\/li>
• Specialist Mechanical Engineering support<\/li>
• Defect Elimination<\/li>
• Ensure correct application of Health & Safety standards<\/li>
• Monitor quality assurance of critical processes<\/li>
• Achieve targets set for maintenance costs reduction<\/li>
• Drive improvement plans<\/li><\/ul>

  Qualifications and skills required:<\/strong><\/p>

  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering essential. Reliability Engineering qualifications highly regarded<\/li>
  • 3 to 10 years\u2019 experience in Mineral Processing Plants<\/li>
  • Proven experience with leading root cause analysis investigations<\/li>
  • Strong conceptual thinking and analytical focus<\/li>
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and continual improvement focus<\/li>
  • Knowledge of relevant Mines legislations and regulations<\/li>
  • Site experience in Iron ore processing equipment such as crushers, vibrating screens, rotary scrubbers, hydraulic systems, conveyors, pumps, magnetic separators, Thickeners, balanced machines etc.<\/li>
  • Knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP preferred)<\/li>
  • Planning, organisational, scheduling and coordination skills<\/li><\/ul>
