Roster: <\/strong>2\/1 roster 7D7N7RNR<\/p>

Fortescue are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced level HD fitter to carry out a mix of both scheduled and breakdown maintenance on a range of large-scale mining equipment in the Ancillary department at Solomon<\/p>

Key accountabilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>

• Maintenance on various Ancillary equipment including D10 and D11 Dozers, 16M and 24M Graders, WA1200 and 994 Loaders, 777 Service Carts and 785 Water Carts.<\/li>
• Diagnostics & Fault Finding<\/li>
• Workshop and Pit duties as required<\/li>
• Providing mentorship and guidance<\/li>
• Work in conjunction with all Mobile Maintenance teams to achieve 100% schedule compliance.<\/li>
• Ensure all activities undertaken are carried out in accordance with company safety policy and procedures<\/li>
• Assist in conducting prestarts<\/li>
• Delegating maintenance tasks to team and following up to ensure planned works and schedules are completed in a timely manner.<\/li><\/ul>

  Qualifications and skills required:<\/strong><\/p>

  • Australian recognised HD Fitter Trade Certificate<\/li>
  • Previous experience working in a mining or heavy industry<\/li>
  • Previous Supervision\/Leadership experience highly desirable<\/li>
  • Mobile Plant experience is essential<\/li>
  • High regard for safety<\/li>
  • Good communication skills<\/li>
  • Ability to operate within a team environment<\/li>
  • SAP experience essential<\/li>
  • EWP ticket (desirable)<\/li>
  • Current HR Drivers Licence<\/li><\/ul>
