The role:

The team:

Join a dynamic, innovative Allied Health leadership team, working to support high quality multidisciplinary services across Hospitals South. This position works closely with the Executive Director of Allied Health and senior Allied Health leaders.

Details of Appointment

Permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary:

$158,888 - $160,211 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  1. Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board, or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, eligible for membership with the relevant professional association

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

  1. Postgraduate qualifications in health service management, administration and/or leadership (or related areas of study)

  2. Current Drivers Licence

  3. Intra/Interstate travel may be required.

  4. Some out of hours work and on-call may be required

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

  1. Conviction checks in the following areas:
  1. crimes of violence
  2. sex related offences
  3. serious drug offences
  4. crimes involving dishonesty
  1. Identification check
  2. Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
