Salary: UOM 6 – $92,749 - $100,397 p.a. pro-rata plus 17% super
- Provide integral support to research training programs across the School, with a focus on Honours and Graduate Research programs

About the Role
As a member of the School's Research Support Team, you will coordinate and implement consistent and streamlined processes for research training support in the Melbourne Medical School. The incumbent will work closely with graduate research coordinators and research student supervisors to ensure clear communication and policy implementation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement streamlined processes for research training support within the Melbourne Medical School (MMS).
- Coordinate communication and policy implementation among MMS Research Training coordinators.
- Liaise with various areas within the Faculty and University to ensure consistency in research training processes.
- Contribute to the development of research training resources and plans, facilitate meetings, and maintain web content while adhering to occupational health and safety standards.
Who We Are Looking For
You have extensive experience in technical or administrative fields, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You can demonstrate initiative, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in standard application software. Experience in the higher education sector and familiarity with University information systems is desirable.
You will also have:
- A degree with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated initiative and problem solving/analytics skills with the ability to deliver creative solutions
- Highly developed skills in time management, setting priorities, planning and organising work in order to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to identify and propose improvement opportunities to ensure continuous improvement of administrative procedures and processes

This position requires the incumbent to hold a current and valid Working with Children Check to ensure the University provides a safe environment for everyone.
