Responsibilities
- Maximize the risk adjusted revenue under the business objectives and sales strategies set up by the Bank.
- Lead the division to achieve the business targets by formulating business strategies and sales plans, and leveraging on the bank’s resources, cross-border channels and the dynamic products and services; Responsible for the overall business control and monitoring.
- Analyze the development and changes of the global financial market, explore the needs of local financial institutions, non-bank customers, establish sales-lead customer relationships through pro-active marketing and design tailored full-service solutions for the customers.
- Maintain strong relationship with existing customers and actively explore new business areas and dynamic customer segments by being attentive to market development and industry trends, and actively adopt corresponding strategies to promote business development.
- Implement the bank’s business development strategy in Southeast Asia, seize business opportunities and explore new customer and project to achieve business growth.
- Develop effective monitoring mechanisms to strengthen the risk management control, maintain the overall asset quality of the Bank.
- Ensure our business operation meets the regulatory requirements, complies with laws and ethics, which is in line with the rules and regulations set out by the Bank.
- Foster positive team spirit and staff morale, cultivate professionalism among the teams, set up high quality teams, as well as uphold a good corporate culture.
Requirements
- Bachelors or above.
- Securities and Insurance Intermediary Qualifications or meeting the basic requirement for applying for Securities and Insurance intermediary are required. CFA / CPA / FRM is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of Bank / Commercial and Institutional business / Securities related experiences; with at least 7 years of management experience; Experienced in driving non-interest income from treasury products and relationship management; with proven track record in developing customers focused corporate banking business.
- Possess market insight with a comprehensive understanding of social economy, politics, industry and market dynamics (including the Mainland and global markets), etc.
- Familiar with regulatory requirements, industry practices, risk management related concepts and principles.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese with good communication and presentation skills.
