- Academic Level C or D $125,527 - $165,150 p.a. + super
- Up to 17% employer superannuation contributions
- Based at the Townsville, Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas
- Level of appointment and remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
Working with a diverse team of academics and researchers, you will provide leadership and foster excellence in teaching and research, whilst contributing to curriculum development and coordinating IT programs and marketing and outreach support for the Discipline. With excellent interpersonal skills, you will collaborate with a range of industry and other stakeholders to identify and develop opportunities for innovation-driven partnerships.

- A completion of a PhD or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Established expertise in Information Technology, in particular AI/Cloud Computing/Cyber Security and the application thereof to a broad range of industries.
- Demonstrated experience in research through publications in high-quality journals/conferences and in attracting research grants and competitive research funding.
- An ability to undertake education and training in IT, Computer Sciences or related disciplines.
