The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) is an experienced nurse who, within the defined area of practice:

The Team

The Paediatric Unit at the NWRH is a 16-bed unit; we are the only acute paediatric inpatient facility on the NW coast and provide care to infants, children, and adolescents through to 18 years of age.

The unit caters for a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions. With a strong belief in a multidisciplinary team approach, the paediatric team actively involves Physiotherapists, Dieticians, Occupational Therapists, Pharmacists, Speech Pathologists and Social Workers in the delivery of family-based care.

Permanent part time shift-worker position working 48 hours per fortnight commencing April 2024

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: $96,967 - $102,473 per annum pro rata + 11% superannuation + access to salary packaging

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  1. Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse

  2. Current Working with Children Registration

  1. Holds, or is working towards, relevant postgraduate qualifications.
