Job Description:
The Role:
- Provide high-level business, secretarial and administrative support to the Anaesthetics Department at Royal Hobart Hospital, including the administration of clinical, non-clinical, financial and administrative information to ensure the efficient and effective operation for the unit.
- Support the day to day running of the unit and ensure the efficient flow of information and correspondence relating to the activities of Hospitals South.
- Take responsibility for work assignments, provide operational and administrative support and undertake specific projects as directed by the Director, Deputy Directors and Clinical Leads within the unit.

The Team:
Department of Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine, including the Acute Pain Service
1. Provides a comprehensive range of general and specialist clinical anaesthesia services throughout the Royal Hobart Hospital
2. Coordinates the Tasmanian Anaesthetic Registrar Training Program
3. High-quality specialist teaching department with significant research activity
Details of Appointment
Fixed Term, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing 1 October 20203 until 29 September 2024
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $69,574 - $75,199 per annum + 11% superannuation + access to salary packaging
- Salary range is in accordance with the Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
