Job Description: |
The Data Analyst will work under the direct supervision of College of Pharmacy, Associate Professor, Dr. Park. Candidate’s primary focus will be in manipulating large healthcare claims data or electronic health records (e.g., data cleaning, creating variables), applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems integrated with large health care datasets. Candidate will also assist faculty or students with statistical analysis on ongoing research or new research. Candidate will have experience with statistical or data mining software (e.g., SAS, Stata, R, Python, Salford, Access) and analyzing data from a range of projects related to medication utilization and health outcomes. Expected Salary: |
$25-$35/hour commensurate with education and experience. |
Minimum Requirements: |
Master's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience. |
