Job Description:

The role:

Provide contemporary pharmacy services effectively and efficiently to inpatients, outpatients and staff of the Royal Hobart Hospital under he general direction and guidance of the Clinical Pharmacy Manager across a range of speciality and leadership areas, including Clinical Pharmacy services, Dispensary services and Compounding and Cancer Support Services

Perform a variety of pharmacy duties on a rotational basis following appropriate training. This includes providing coverage for the pharmacists and other credentialled pharmacy roles within other specialised pharmacy services.

Rotational work within the VPS is also a requirement of this role.

Rotations may include positions within any Tasmanian Region for a period of up to two consecutive weeks or other arrangements as agreed by negotiation.

Details of Appointment

Fixed term part time shift-worker position working 48 hours per fortnight commencing October 2023 - October 2024

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: $103, 608 - $119, 430 per annum (pro rata) + 11% superannuation + access to salary packaging

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  1. Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia or completion of an overseas qualification eligible for skills assessment through the Australian Pharmacy Council.

  2. Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Australia

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

  1. Current Driver's Licence
