The role:
- Provide clinical leadership, and professional support to Psychologists working in Psychology Services, ensuring that evidence-based practice is provided in accordance with organisational policies and the professional code of conduct of the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Assist the Manager Psychology Services with coordination and management of Psychology Services, including recruitment and supervision of staff and students.
- Provide clinical leadership in quality improvement initiatives and maintain relationships with key clinical stakeholders.

The Psychology services team are:
- A team of Clinical psychologists, Neuropsychologists and Health Psychologists working alongside multidisciplinary professionals in allied health, nursing and medical teams
- We offer professional development support, peer review and clinical supervision including to new graduates and psychology registrars.
- Support, mentoring and development from a psychology and allied health leadership team.
Details of Appointment
Permanent, part time, day worker position working 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $116,616 to $124,147 pro-rata, per annum + 11% superannuation + access to salary packaging
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
- Please note that access to salaries beyond $122,908 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme
- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type
- Professional Development Allowance of up to $500 per annum
- Salary range is in accordance with the Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022
Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
- Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Holds area of Practice endorsement in Neuropsychology OR completed an approved postgraduate qualification accredited as fifth and sixth year of study in the approved area of practice of Neuropsychology, with Board approved supervised practice in the registrar program, as outlined within the ‘Guidelines on area practice endorsements’ of the Psychology Board of Australia.
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- Registrations as a supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Post Graduate degree in Neuropsychology
