On a day-to-day basis, the Research Officer’s responsibilities will include:

About the Branch

The primary role of the Branch is to provide advice and support to the Regulator in regulating the prices and services provided by regulated entities including TasWater, Aurora Energy, Hydro Tasmania and the Motor Accidents Insurance Board. The Branch is responsible for preparing reports as part of pricing investigations and inquiries, liaising with regulated entities and monitoring their performance. The Branch also consults widely with stakeholder groups and customers to obtain feedback on matters for which the Regulator is responsible.
