Job Description:
The role:
- Prepare, cook and provide meals of the highest standard to patients, residents, any meal recipients in the community, visitors and staff.
- As part of the facility’s continuous quality and consumer safety program, support the Support Services Coordinator in ensuring work practices comply with Foodsafe and infection control requirements, including monitoring work practices and the use and storage of food, perishable goods and other consumables.

Details of Appointment
Fixed term, casual, shift-worker (fully rotational) positions working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for a period of 12 months.
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $58,899 to $61.381 pro rata, per annum + 10.5% superannuation
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
Eligibility:
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- Certificate II in Hospitality
The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

- serious drug offences
- crimes involving dishonesty
