Job Description: |
The primary role of the technician is to support the hospital by assisting services in the Cath lab and ensure the room is in working order. The individual will assist with surgical procedures as needed and ensure all tasks are completed for cases. When there are no Cath lab cases, the individual will assist the OR's with cases. They will assist other services to ensure cases are on time and the schedule is not delayed. The person also will bring in the area a positive “can do” attitude and help all areas to ensure the cases are complete in a timely fashion. The expectation is that the individual will communicate effectively with services to determine needs and priorities for the day, display a positive and proactive attitude while also knowing when to ask for help or guidance when needed. Patients should be handled compassionately with the goal to prevent and alleviate fear, anxiety, and stress during their visit. |
Expected Salary: |
$18 to $25, salary based on credentials and experience |
Minimum Requirements: |
Veterinary Technician I: High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience |
Preferred Qualifications: |
Graduate from an accredited American Veterinary Medical Association program for veterinary technology OR American Registered Radiologic Technologist. Credentialed veterinary Technician OR Registered Radiological Technologist |
