The role:

The team:

We are a close-knit team of 20, spread across Tasmania’s three regions. Our team is a mix of local and new Tasmanians, all from diverse backgrounds.

Your clinical expertise will be highly valued, as will your understanding of new technology. You will also have a strong desire to share your skills and knowledge with our current clinical and technical staff members.

You will maintain a small, defined clinical workload, managing a variety of complex presentations.

We are currently in a period of growth and service expansion, where your strategic thinking and change management skills will be crucial.

Details of Appointment

Permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible based in Southern Tasmania.

Flexible working arrangements may allow this position to be filled by more than one person.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant

Base Salary: $116,616- $124,147 per annum pro-rata

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  1. Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics or an equivalent tertiary Prosthetic and Orthotic qualification
  2. Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

  1. Eligibility for membership of the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association
  2. Postgraduate qualifications relevant to the requirements of the role
  3. Current Driver’s Licence
