Manager Rail Network Maintenance
Work Location: Hedland Operations - Fortescue’s Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.
Roster: 4D:3R FIFO ex Perth or Residential in Port Hedland
You will provide leadership and direction to the Rail Network Maintenance teams including but not limited to track, signals, civil and associated plant and workshop maintenance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Apply best practice in Asset Management and Maintenance Planning
- Develop long term Sustaining Capital Plans and operating expense budgets annually
- Develop and execute annual Business Plans aligned to Rail GM strategy
- Ensure department business risks are identified and managed
- Ensure operational readiness for decarbonisation scope
- Recognise, prioritise and deliver business improvement opportunities
- Manage Talent and create a safe place to work where everyone belongs
- Live daily the Fortescue values
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5 years proven experience in a similar leadership position
- Professional Civil Engineer registerable with Engineers Australia as a chartered professional engineer
- Demonstrated experience in developing and coaching leaders
- Minimum 10 years maintenance experience
