Job Description:

What’s different about Tasmania is our culture and our lifestyle. You will be encouraged to be yourself, to learn, to grow and to develop meaning in your work. You will have a powerful connection to your patients and your colleagues, and the community will encourage your success. Our isolation helps drive a culture of creation and human connection, which feels both old fashioned and… like the only future worth pursuing.

Here in Tasmania, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to breathtaking coastlines, National Parks or award-winning restaurants or bars. Some people surf in the early mornings and go fly fishing on weekends or take photography classes, write novels, sell preserves at the weekly farmers’ markets, learn to mountain bike. They take part in the community, volunteering and serving on boards. And their spouses and children have similar opportunities to thrive in a quieter, safer, more adventurous place.

After a hard day at work, you can get on your bike or put on your boots and “tell it to the mountain” in minutes, not hours.

It’s not where you were born. It’s who you are, and who you want to be. Be Tasmanian.

Our research program is highly developed, with many of the team presenting each year at the Society of Hospital Pharmacists National Conference.

You’ll work with a mix of passionate locals and new Tasmanian adventurers who will welcome your energy and experiences into the group dynamic. We actively promote improved medication safety and equity of access to pharmacy services, both of which are so crucial to improving the lives of the people in the diverse and inclusive communities where we live and work.
