Job Description: |
The University of Florida Herbarium (in the Florida Museum of Natural History) has a Federal Work Study position available to work on mounting of plant specimens. Duties will include handling of dried specimens, staging of specimens on archival paper, gluing specimens and labels, and use of linen strips to secure plant specimens for long-term preservation and study. Tasks require meticulous care of fragile plant specimens and attention to detail. The hours are flexible but a regular schedule of 6-12 hours per week is desirable. |

$12/hour |
Minimum Requirements: |
YOU MUST BE A UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA STUDENT. You must have Federal Work Study eligibility (FWS) |
Preferred Qualifications: |
Meticulous care of fragile plant specimens and attention to detail. |
