Job Description:
The Role:
- Daily management of the Surgical Unit’s patients and clinical activities within the limits specified with your clinical privileges.
Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.
The Team:
- Broad exposure to Plastics including operating, emergencies and clinic.
- The role is well supported clinically with addition teaching and research opportunities.
- The welcoming community surrounding the Hospital consists of natural scenery garnished with wineries, markets and distilleries and entertaining world class outdoor activities.
Details of Appointment
Fixed term, full time, day work, position working 80 hours per fortnight, commencing from 7 August 2023 until 4 February 2024

Salary:
Medical Practitioner Level 5 - 11 $97,946 - $138,593 per annum
In addition to the annual salary a one-off up-front payment of between $10,000 and $12,000 pro rata (dependent upon qualifications and experience) will be paid upon commencement.
Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
- General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia
*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered
