Job Description:

The Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at The University of Florida is seeking applicants who wish to pursue an academic career in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology & Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery. We are looking to hire at the rank of Clinical Assistant / Associate Professor multi-mission track.

The desired candidate will possess a strong commitment to the triple academic mission: clinical care, research and teaching.

We are looking for partners who will flourish in a team environment focused on providing full spectrum head and neck cancer care. We expect that the candidate will be skilled in ablative, minimally invasive, endocrine and reconstructive surgery.

The candidate will have the opportunity to teach medical students, residents and a fellow. Teaching resources including skill labs, inter-college collaborations and artificial intelligence technology are available to advance the candidates teaching mission.

Clinic and translational research endeavors are highly supported through the college of medicine and cancer center. With our impending NCI designation, support for clinical trials and cancer outcomes research is primed for institutional investment.

Rank and Tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications.

Advertised Salary:

Salary is negotiable and will be commensurate with experience and training.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicant must be board certified or board eligible, and licensed (or eligible) to practice in Florida. Fellowship training in Advanced Head and Neck Surgical Oncology/Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery is a prerequisite

Preferred Qualifications:

Significant experience in open and minimally invasive tumor ablation, endocrine surgery as well as wide variety reconstructive techniques is preferred.
