Senior Audit Manager (Life Insurance)

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

• Lead and manage internal audit engagements in Life Insurance sector from planning, risk assessment, fieldwork to reporting<\/li>\n
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, identify areas for improvement and provide sound recommendations<\/li>\n
• Provide business stakeholders with recommendations on how to improve efficiency or optimize business processes<\/li>\n
• Assist in reporting significant audit matters to Senior Management and Audit Committee<\/li>\n
• Support ad-hoc projects as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Degree or above with major in Accountancy, Finance, Statistics, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, or related disciplines<\/li>\n
  • Professional qualification of CPA or CIA or equivalent; CFA, FRM, FLMI, CAMS will be a plus<\/li>\n
  • 6 years or above solid experience of Life Insurance Company\u2019s operation, risk and control, preferably in roles with duties of auditing, compliance, internal control, risk management, etc., with Big 4 background preferred<\/li>\n
  • Familiar with relevant laws & regulations, standards and market practices; knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements<\/li>\n
  • With exposure \/ knowledge on IFRS 17 and\/or Risk-based Capital preferred<\/li>\n
  • Good team-player with excellent project management, interpersonal, report writing and team \/ people management skills; Proactive and passionate mentality<\/li>\n
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese and English, with good command of Mandarin<\/li>\n<\/ul>"
