Job Description:

The Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor level (tenure track or non-tenure accruing, clinical track). Primary responsibilities will involve service and clinical teaching in cytopathology including fine needle aspiration of thyroid by ultrasound. A secondary surgical pathology subspecialty is required; however the specific subspecialty is negotiable depending on applicant interest and departmental needs. The University of Florida/Shands Health Care affiliated institutions present a rich diversity of inpatient and outpatient clinical material. The successful applicant will contribute to medical student, resident and fellowship training in accredited programs within Pathology. Scholarly study and investigation in the applicant’s area of interest is encouraged.

Expected Salary:

Salary Range is $220,700 - $264,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants should have an M.D. or D.O. degree, board certification in Anatomic Pathology or AP/CP, be eligible for or have added certification in Cytopathology by the American Board of Pathology, and possess or be eligible for a Florida medical license
