The Entrepreneurship Team at UNSW drives the entrepreneurship brand of the University by building confidence in students, staff and alumni through foundational entrepreneurship experiences and exposing startups to the most advanced technical support.
The Program Manager (Digital Prototypes) will support UNSW students and staff and alumni by moving their ideas from conception to maximum impact. The Program Manager will plan, coordinate and assist all digital prototyping activities across the Founders programs, including the creation and facilitation of fundamentals workshops (wireframes, no code + low code apps) and in-depth MVP development for startups in UNSW Founders’ Accelerator Programs. The Program Manager reports the Senior Manager - Curiosity and may have some causal staff reports. UNSW Founders is Australia’s most comprehensive support program that helps UNSW students, staff and alumni turn their ideas and research into successful startups. We help participants in our programs build the capability, mindset and networks they need to create positive impact through entrepreneurship. Who you are
You can demonstrate you experience in Computer Science/Software Engineering), as well as:
- Proficiency in full-stack development tools including JavaScript, NodeJS, React or similar.
- Understanding and implementation experience of SQL & NoSQL databases.
- Experience of creating digital products (MVPs) from scratch.
- Strong working knowledge of no-code app building using tools like Adobe XD, Marvel, Figma, Balsamiq.
- Website and landing page construction.
- Strong working knowledge of rapid prototyping mindset and methodologies.
- Working knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
- Experience of teaching, coaching or facilitating in a classroom environment.
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills and experience with non-technical clients.
- Excellent organisational skills, with proven experience managing workflows and deadlines.
