Job Description:
The role:
- Clean, maintain and sterilize work areas and ward equipment within infection control guidelines.
- Provide a communication network between departments including delivery and collection service as required.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and staff.
- Maintain ward linen stocks including the handling of foul and nauseous linen.
- Assist with maintenance of stores.
- Provide liquid refreshments for patients when not provided by catering staff.
- Undertake basic clerical duties as required.
- Participate in educational, quality improvement and training programs.
- The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.

The Hospital:
Ward K6 is where you will find the inpatient units for Paediatric Services at the RHH and consists of K6East - Children's and K6West - Adolescents. You will be working as a member of the support team across the footprint of K6 at the RHH.
Details of Appointment
Permanent full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing 12 June 2023.

Salary: $56,489 to $57,845 per annum + 10.5% superannuation
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
