Job Description:

The UF Small Animal Hospital is seeking a self-motivated, compassionate, animal loving individual to be part of our patient care team. Our Client Service Representatives (CSR) work closely with the specialty services and act as a client advocate, ensuring that each client experience matches the excellent care offered to their pets. They are responsible for coordinating the daily activity of patients admitted and discharged from the Small Animal Hospital, communicating with clients during the course of their appointment, and ensuring clients are aware and understand what is happening with their pet and associated charges.
The specialty side is open 7:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday. Shifts vary depending on needs of the area. This position is considered essential personnel and participates in Holiday rotations and other times when hospital remains open.

This position is considered essential personnel and requires a post-offer health assessment.

Expected Salary:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour, pay based on experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Veterinary Client Services Representative I:
High school diploma or equivalent and one year relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Veterinary Client Services Representative II:
High school diploma or equivalent and three years of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
