Burnie Adult Community Mental Health Service

Burnie overlooks Emu Bay on Tasmania’s north-west coast. The city has a proud industrial past and is a vibrant place to visit. Burnie has a dynamic cultural life with galleries, performances, exhibitions, community events and public spaces featuring buildings by contemporary Tasmanian architects and designers. The 20,000 residents enjoy a vibrant shopping district that spills onto the beach for seafood and coffee. Fantastic food is available in Burnie's great choice of restaurants and cafes. The best milk in the world for cheese making is produced in the area and cheese is made locally. There are well stocked deli’s and shops to tempt you with gourmet treats, including distilled whiskey.

As part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high quality mental health services in accordance with the Mental Health Services Strategic Plan, Mental Health Service principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies, the Allied Health Professional will:

Details of Appointment:

Permanent full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant

Location:

Mental Health Services – North West

Salary:

$101,108 – 119,430 per annum + 10.5% superannuation

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
