The role:

Within the Department Framework and in accordance with Agency Policy and Procedures the Senior Physiotherapist will, within a defined clinical team and/or other specified areas of the Hospitals South:

The team:

Seeking an experienced and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our Rehabilitation Physiotherapy Team. Working across a number of sites around Hobart, the Rehabilitation Services Team include transition care, geriatric rehabilitation, palliative care, psychogeriatrics, and acute rehabilitation.

This vacancy will be based at the Repatriation site, working across two palliative care units. As part of the multidisciplinary team, the senior physiotherapist will work alongside medical, nursing and allied health staff to deliver evidence-based palliative care to inpatients. There is potential for this role to provide domiciliary care and to work elsewhere within the Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Team.

Details of Appointment

Permanent, part time, day worker position working 60.8 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant

Salary: $101,108 to $119,430 per annum + 10.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

  1. Registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:

  1. Current Driver’s Licence
  2. Postgraduate qualifications or working towards this in the identified clinical area
