The Role:

The Enrolled Nurse

The Team:

Situated in the newly developed K Block facility K9 East is an exciting and engaging area of clinical practice. We take pride in our care of the diverse range of surgical specialty patients encompassing the following specialties - Orthopaedics, Urology, Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery, Tasmanian Burns Unit, Ophthalmology, Ear Nose & Throat, Oral Maxillary Facial.

We have a strong multidisciplinary focus and look forward to welcoming you to our supportive team environment.

Details of Appointment

Permanent, part time, shift-worker (fully rotational) position working 64 hours per fortnight, commencing ASAP

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant

Base Salary: $63,083 - $69,835 per annum + 10.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:

  1. Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse (holds a Board-approved qualification in administration of medicines)

The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:

  1. Conviction checks in the following areas:
  1. crimes of violence
  2. sex related offences
  3. serious drug offences
  4. crimes involving dishonesty
  1. Identification check
  2. Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
