Job Description:
The role:
- Undertake specialised Occupational Therapy clinical assessment and treatment.
- Provide clinical direction, support and resource development for the specialised clinical areas to occupational therapists.
- Assist with the development of the occupational therapy services through planning, evidence-based practice, quality improvement and research activities and clinical placements for undergraduate students.

Senior Occupational Therapist within the Acute Team - based at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
Details of Appointment
Fixed Term, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible for approximately twelve (12) months.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $101,108 to $119,430 per annum + 10.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Professional Development Allowance of up to $1,000 per annum
- Please note that access to salaries beyond $109,964 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme

Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Occupational Board of Australia
- Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
