Job Description:
The Role:
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) - Consumer Engagement you will be instrumental in implementing Hospitals South’s Consumer Engagement framework.
- Promote effective engagement between health consumers and health services for Hospitals South.
- Apply a clinical perspective to all facets of the Quality & Patient Safety Service across the organisation.
- Provide high level support and advice to the Consumer and Community Engagement Council and collaborate to progress the work of Partnering with Consumers Standard across the organisation.
- Facilitate and lead the introduction, implementation and monitoring of patient safety and co-design initiatives across Hospitals South.

Details of Appointment
Permanent, part time, day work position working 60.8 hours per fortnight, 4 days a week, commencing ASAP.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of six months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $104,735- $111,334 per annum (pro rata) + 10.5% superannuation + access to salary packaging
- Salary range is in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Award
Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
- Holds, or is working towards, relevant postgraduate qualifications
- Demonstrated strong project management experience

- serious drug offences
- crimes involving dishonesty
