Bioinformatics Analyst II
Job Description:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop bioinformatics, data analytics and curation pipelines that improve access to and use of biological and related data bases.
  • Provide bioinformatics and data analytics consultation. Contribute creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Contribute to grant proposals, publications, grant reports, and presentations.
Expected Salary:

Commensurate with qualifications and experience
Minimum Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in appropriate area of specialization and two years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated expertise in computer science, statistical genetics, bioinformatics, or quantitative analytics.
  • A strong background in programming (e.g., Python or R)
  • Outstanding communications skills
  • Experience with or interest in learning biological/genetic/genomic concepts.
