The Melbourne School of Population and Global Health (MSPGH) is a respected leader in the field of public health education, research and knowledge exchange. MSPGH was established in 2001 as the first school of its kind in Australia with a vision to make a difference in the population and public health sphere - building on the substantial assets of our University to advance public health in communities nationally and internationally - with a strong focus on Indigenous peoples.
Since its inception, the School has grown rapidly in size, scope and reputation – demonstrated in the University of Melbourne ranking 12th globally* for public health - and has consistently attracted leading academics and researchers who bring considerable skills, insights and expertise. In early 2023 the School will launch a new strategic plan articulating a renewed vision, purpose and direction for MSPGH.

About the Role

The Strategy Support Officer role requires an energetic, focused, effective and highly organised administrator who will work closely with senior academic leaders providing management and administrative support to plan and enable developments critical to the School’s development. Programs and activities supported by this role are expected to include planning and coordinating meetings, seminars and workshops; facilitating networking sessions; data collection and analysis; managing communications and promotion of school achievements including via social media; training activities and administering calls for funding support.
