Role overview:<\/strong><\/p>\n

A new opportunity exists for an Application Architect in Technology and Autonomy\u2019s Application Solutions team. Your key responsibility will be to bring innovation and new ideas to all areas of the team. You will be required to have leading application, digital and mobile experience as well as enterprise architecture capabilities around tools, platforms and methodologies. You will need to have the passion to learn and understand new technologies through an evolving application landscape.<\/p>\n

Key responsibilities include: <\/strong><\/p>\n

\n
• Design scalable solutions across multiple digital channels, platforms and cloud hosting options.<\/li>\n
• Evaluate new and emerging technologies and deliver proof of concepts. Propose changes for improvement where needed.<\/li>\n
• Develop solutions that reflect the strategic direction of the systems and needs of Fortescue.<\/li>\n
• Assess the current state systems architecture and working with other Technology teams to provide recommendations for improvement whilst ensuring it meets Cyber requirements.<\/li>\n
• Work with existing architecture teams and align with their principles and standards.<\/li>\n
• Capable of designing the architecture for an application, which includes application components such as user interface, user experience and integration.<\/li>\n
• Create technical design and documentation based upon business and enterprise architecture.<\/li>\n
• Provide guidance and supervision and to both onshore and offshore development teams.<\/li>\n
• Capable of code reviews and mentoring others.<\/li>\n
• Capable of communicating directly with business customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Qualifications and Experience: <\/strong><\/p>\n

  \n
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in application architecture.<\/li>\n
  • Software development experience including .NET, JS, HTML5, Java.<\/li>\n
  • Experience with frontend presentation frameworks such as jQuery, AngularJS, React.<\/li>\n
  • Experience in application development and solution design, including software development, database and integration.<\/li>\n
  • Design and recommend technical solutions that fit business requirements.<\/li>\n
  • Experience across a number of technologies including:\n
    \n
    • Application Development<\/li>\n
    • SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Power Platform<\/li>\n
    • Identity & Access Management (IAM)<\/li>\n
    • API and micro services development and management<\/li>\n
    • Cloud deployment<\/li>\n
    • Web Development (.Net)<\/li>\n
    • Mobile Development (Outsystems or other low code platforms)<\/li>\n
    • Azure DevOps and GitHub<\/li>\n
    • Test driven development and Unit Testing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
